When The Hangry SaVEG first came to life, the dream was to open a cozy vegan café — a place where anyone could walk in, eat well, and feel included. Then COVID hit, and like so many others, we had to pause and re-evaluate.
But that pause gave us perspective. Instead of serving a few dozen people a day, what if we could help restaurants everywhere make their menus more inclusive? What if we could help entire teams understand what it means to cook and serve with compassion, awareness, and confidence?
That’s how The Hangry SaVEG evolved — from café idea to culinary consulting movement.
Our mission is simple:
🥑 Make vegan dining more accessible — not just for vegans, but for everyone who cares about good food and good company.
🌿 Help restaurants get their vegan sh*t together — with training, menu guidance, sourcing support, and a signature SaVEG Stamp of Approval.
🌈 Build trust — so that when you see the SaVEG name, you know the restaurant has been vetted, trained, and truly understands how to welcome vegan, vegetarian, and plant-based guests.
The future of The Hangry SaVEG is about impact. We’re building a name that households recognize and trust — a symbol that says, “You’re safe to eat here.”
So while the café dream is still tucked in our hearts (and maybe not gone forever), the bigger dream is already happening: creating a world where being vegan doesn’t mean you have to ask a dozen questions before you order.
